- There is a bug in the 3.1 ROM's that locks the SCSI bus if
- a drive has not finished spinning up when it is queryed. There
- are at least two possible problems:

- 1. If your computer works when you warm boot then you just need
- to run SCSI-Prefs (Aminet) and set the timeout to LONG.

- 2. There is a jumper on some drives to enable/disable a feature
- (I forget the term) that keeps the drive down until it receives
- a start signal. If this is the problem then you need to
- find a jumper diagram.
